Kate,

Not a woman but I do know a few and they talk. I don't know anyone who's
following the Vedic path who reported this. There is a practice to "burn the
eggs" (for men "burn the sperm") that is much like some Chinese practices
but that will end your periods, if successful. All energy is diverted to
finishing K process.

I do know someone who has process, though it is not her paradigm to even
think about it as K. She is a member of a western hermetic group, one of the
many flavors of the Golden Dawn. She says when she goes through an
initiation, her's or if she is present for someone else's, her period
changes. Sometimes goes to 2 weeks between, and takes a few months to get
straightened back out again. Don't know what all it does but I do know that
order won't let women who are pregnent go through initiations. Before they
get that way or after they love to have them but they say it can harm the
fetus if it happens during.

If the blood loss isn't too bad, you get weak from the extra times, or
something like that, it actually should be good for you in the long run. You
are clearing out a lot of bad energy and rubbish along with the biological
stuff. That was the reason most traditional sweat lodges exclude women on
their "moon time." It is a time of hightened sensitivity to energy of all
types for the people in the lodge and the other men and women in the lodge
would be subject to the bad energy the woman was cleansing herself of. It is
also why in traditional cultures sex was not allowed during this time, the
man would get her bad energy.

I know it must be a royal pain for women, or most anyway. But it is one of
the reasons it is easier for women to awaken K and get her up to heart. You
folks are basically cleaner inside than us guys. It just happens naturally.
You clean up every month. See guys we are messy even when it isn't in the
physical world. ;-)
