I have to get my input in (giggling) I have really enjoyed reading you two talking you both have so much energy I like that you both are not afriad to say what you mean that is so healthy. Anyway listening two two men disagree about what a mothers love is I thought you should hear the truth from a mother first hand. I have two perfect beautiful daughters I would do anything for them. Do I sacrifice sure I do out of pure love. I gave up any of the dreams I once had I am a stay at home mom becuase I brought kids into this world and my new priority has become seeing that they are raised right and have everything they need. Someday when they are older maybe I will go for my own dreams but right now EVERY decision I make is based on what is best for them NOT ME which is how it should be I believe I made that decision and it is so worth it I would never take it back I ask my fellow mothers do they think they have given up dreams to raise there children also. It is the most loving kind of sacrafice a person could make some sacrafice is good it isnt all bad when we are short of money no matter how much I need something if my children need something I skip myself and fill there needs my life is based on my children the only time I have for myself is late at night so that I can fill my childrens needs but I chose and love that. So anyway now you have heard it from a mother you are both right sacrafice and love but someday when my children grow up and are wonderful responsible adults I will recieve the greatest reward of all knowing I did a good job and my sacrafices made all the difference. And someday when they have there own families I will be left to work towards those dreams that I had so they are not forgotton just on pause so that I can tend to the more important things. :)
Love and Light

which pretty much describes what a woman does who puts her child before
everything in her life. I know very good professional women with good and
promising careers who have been on the fast track but introspection or some
event caused a reassessment of their priorities. They valued their careers
but they valued their children more (as they should and so should fathers)
and stepped off the fast track, sacrificing raises, promotions, and all that
went with them to spend more time with the children. To a simple English
speaker that is perfectly aligned with the dictionary's definition.
understand the logic that includes things like:
"a mothers love isn't a sacrifice, a mother loving her child is a gift. Love
is so beautiful!! Beautiful!! Beautiful!"
