Welcome to the K list! :))

Yes, I'd certainly say so!

Your description (tuning into the universe, the orgasmic feeling, bursts of
love, and the "whirling") and your description at the web site (see below)
are quite typical of Kundalini rising. The "whirling" sensation can also be
experienced as losing a form of consciousness or experiencing bliss. It's
interesting that you describe K in quite physical, objective terms. :)) Once
K rises, it continues to break through barriers, so it is not "just" a K
experience. It deepens according to expectations and the willingness to
surrender preconceptions of what the "self" and ordinary "realty" are. It is
the beginning of a very interesting journey. :))

Don't worry about heat, BTW, if you should encounter it. It is simply a
symptom of more clearing/cleansing

Couple weeks ago I wanted to give it a shot just to see what happens and I
got that kundalini effect, I was so amazed/perplexed that I just let it go
without knowing what it was.
Only later I found out it was that, and managed to raise it thrice
afterwards. Haven't tried anymore though, I don't want to yet.
I basically just entered meditation, tried to subdue your waking ego/thinking
as much as possible and feel one with the flow. It happened really quickly
and then you feel something about your consciousness snap/change inside, and
like your whole head/perception seems to lash backwards, almost feels like a
snake opening it's jaw/mouth or an opening flower, it's the best analogy I
can give, I guess that's why they called it like that too.
And always got an erection automatically as soon as I started feeling the
energy rise. And after a short buildup of an energy that feels like an orgasm
it rises along your spine and you start getting that strange whirling
feeling, like you spin on your axis.
Nothing else out of the ordinary, not hot/warm feeling, except when it got up
to the solar plexus or heart chakra?
I felt my chest open up and really in love with like everything. I think it
cleared out some block I had there hehe.
