I believe without a doubt that yeah, even Kundalini
has to be transcended in order to reach That which has
no name or form, which can be witnessed and
experienced only on the Subjective (personal, as
opposed to the Objective) level.
I think Claude Caspar had posted a splendid series of
postings a few days back on this list about Osho and
Kundalini, which I believe might be quite relevant
here.

Tell all the Truth, but tell it slant,
Success in circuit lies
Too bright for our infirm delight,
The Truth's Superb Surprise
As lightening to the children eased,
With explanation kind
The Truth must dazzle gradually,
Or every man be blind.
