Dear Mark,

Welcome to the K list! The energy certainly can make changes in facial
features. I've found that my expressions relaxed considerably after K
awakening. Heat is, of course, a common feature of the Kundalini process.
Some feel it more strongly than others. For me it always accompanies a
particularly strong surge of energy. It has never been so strong as to be
uncomfortable, though, as was the case of Gopi Krishna, who felt it painfully
for years. I see it as neither very positive or negative--just one of the
"symptoms" of K. (although I tend to like to think of it as curative.)

Good description! :))

Well, I think all religious traditions are based originally on Kundalini
experiences. Perhaps you are trying too hard to find a "fit" with your own
experiences.

Again, welcome! :))
