I'm thinking about this topic for a while now and observing my own reactions very critically and in a way i'm shocked about what i find in myself.

I thought of myself as a very spiritual in a way " religious" person,
i thought, " nature" is sacred to me and i was looking at people's interference with nature rather critically.
I thought, gen manipulation and cloning is something that comes out of people's sick minds.....

in a way i had this " nature knows best" attitude...... organic food...... permaculture...... solar energy...... harmony with nature.....kind of thing.....

but during the last weeks or months i felt, my attitude is dogmatic in a very subtle way.....
and i took this cloning topic as an example to explore my standpoints and belief systems.

I tried to peel away all the layers of dogma and cultural prejudices and whenever i felt a strong emotion why this cannot be done or shouldn't be done i asked myself: " okay, so why NOT?"
and looked at what i came up with.
There is this Christian superiority of mankind.....
you can clone and fool around with all kinds of DNA and bodies and species, but NOT with humans....... so why not????
are human beings something better than a tomato or a rat? I don't think so........

there is this old christian picture of a baby being the fulfillment of love between a man and a woman.....a gift of God, an award for being " good".......
i'm afraid the reality is different. How many babies are conceived in deep love and surrender of the parents towards each other? 5%? 10%?
What about all the other children being conceived through average sex, are produced by drunken fathers, just out of a hormonal need, out of being bored.....just because you do it when you are a couple.....or even a product of rape and violence......????

I set up a scenario in my mind: let's say i'm a soul and i'm waiting for a body next time around. There are two sets of bodies available: naturally produced ones and the ones produced in the lab using gen technology. Would it matter to me as a soul how the body is produced?
And in case it does matter let's look at it like that:
There is a woman getting pregnant by being raped. She is in shock, terrified, full of hatred and disgust.....the man's energy is violent, cruel.....perhaps even sick......

and there is a lab where people are working..... a kind of spiritual gen lab.....
let's say Mystress is working there...........
let's say she will manifest all her love around herself and around these DNA pieces she is working with.
She is doing her work in total surrender to the Divine power......
she is perhaps even able to lift the energy of the DNA she is working with, clean karma off the molecules........
can we still just say, only the " sex-produced" body is to be considered and the one from out of the lab is not?
Perhaps a totally different kind of souls would be able to incarnate when we take this topic out of the natural=sex context...........

how can we say, it can only be " negative"? Perhaps it also could be very " positive"?
What is really holding us back? And are these points valid? Or just dogma and prejudices?

I have no answers, but at least for me personally these questions were important. I learned to let go of all kinds of stuff that i was carrying around with me and it in a way destroyed a lot of my " self-picture".....
