We get a lot of flooding here at the moment but nothing on your scale - I'm
sorry I can't imagine what it must be like. I've often pondered why these
catastrophes happen that affect so many people in the same way (invariably
in the 'developing' world though I hate that word) - some mass collective
unconscious upheaval? I don't want to insult you with hypotheses. I just
wish 'the west' would cotton on that just as their actions affect everywhere
else, it's vice versa too. There's big upset locally where I live about a
major manufacturer relocating production to Malyasia where labour is so much
cheaper - laying off 800 locals in the process - an interesting example I
think.
