Subject: [K-list] sensory deprivation
From: siska
On 2002/01/27 12:47, siska posted thus to the K-list: I've just read a newspaper story about an attempt to discover what 24 hours of complete sensory deprivation, as recently suffered by the Taliban in Guantanamo actually feels like. The subject reported (aside from 12 hours of psychological hell at which point he gave up), hearing loud roaring sounds in his ears - a classic K sympton huh?
Would I be right in thinking K is active to some degree in just about everyone? I've always felt surely it's a spectrum of experience from a pilot light at one end to full on gas explosion at the other.
siska.
