Dear Joss,

Welcome.

There has been much written on polarities and energy flows. I often get confused and can't keep them clear.

My experience, over and over again, is energy follows thought, energy follows intent. Energy flows and concentrates where I put my attention.

So the answer is, sometimes it flows one way, sometimes it flows the other, sometimes it flows the way it wants and we can't influence it's flow.

No big deal. Intent always overides technique so it is hard to screw up stuff like this. And sometimes, I found out dramatically a couple of days ago, the energy overrides intent.

Have fun and play with it.
