    Good question, Emily.

    There are many who believe that K. is un-necessary, or even a handicap
to the goal of enlightenment.
    For myself, high energy means faster growth, and it appears to be true
when I am granting Shaktipat, as well. The energy brings up stuff to be
released, and travel to a higher vibration provides insights of
"knowingness" that seem to be less accessible at lower vibrations.
Experiential understanding.

    However, there are also high energy times when I have gone flying off
on my *interpretations* of the high energy event, and at those times all
that creative energy goes into making a universe I can get stuck in. The
associated phenomena can be distracting, or become a new attachment.

    There is more hazard to a higher energy state, because change is
stressful to humans. Too much energy bringing up more stuff than the
consciousness can handle surrendering, leads to psychosis. Faster is not
always better...

    So, I would say that a tortoise path may be more balanced and steady
that a hare path that may crash into a tree. Whatever, Goddess has it handled.
