No, it isn't. We have had this debate on the list many times.
    If you observe the phenomena, for yourself instead of swallowing the
scientific explanation whole as if it is gospel, then you will see for
yourself that it corresponds to energy shifts, and has little to do with
the quality of light. If you observe for yourself, you will see that there
are more sparkles around a tree, than around a building or a telephone
pole. There are also more around a charged, magical object.

Scientific explanations are not always correct.
Thanks for your comments tho... In trying to keep the pages relatively
short, I see I have missed on some information. I will edit the essay to
include a mention of the erroneous "scientific" explanation.
