I've started digging in. It looks very interesting and possibly helpful. I
started with the prana/shakti essay since that's one of my recent questions.
You said: "You may have noticed sometimes if you look at a bright blue sky,
snow, or if you look at the air around a tree, there's a lot of tiny
swirling comets that seem to wink in and out of existence. Those are prana
particles, and the trees make them out of sunlight."
Actually, what those are is the blood vessels in your eyes. It's not
unusual to be able to see the blood vessels in your eyes as "swimming
points of brightness" when you look at something lit up like the sky or snow.
Whenever I encounter a spiritual "phenomenon" like that, my first impulse
is to see if there's a more mundane scientific explanation for it. Then I'm
free to decide if the phenomenon is *only* a physical phenomenon or *also*
a spiritual one. This is the legacy left me by my father who was both a
Transcendentalist (as was his father) and a scientist. (as was his father).
You also say: "Whereas, when I'm radiating the Shakti energy, I don't tell
it what to do. I just send it out, and it takes whatever form is needed by
the recipient. Since I'm not directing it, I don't know what form it takes.
It's the unconscious of the person who receives it, and their own Divine
guidance that decides what that Shakti shows up as."
With this in mind, it sounds as if what I've been doing all my life that
I've called "directing my prana" is not really "directing" in the true
sense. What you describe here is how prana has always been for me. I've
never told it what to be or how to manifest, I've just "sent" it (passing
it through my heart chakra first) and let it do whatever it needed to do.
Maybe this is part of why the main difference I've been seeing between
prana and kundalini is one of intensity -- because I haven't been "fully
utilizing" my prana but treating it as if it were kundalini?
I'm not "demanding" of kundalini energy, but if I think that I want it to
rush up my spine, it always has, every time. I have not yet had an
experience with thinking, "I'd like my kundalini to do this" or "I'd like
my kundalini to go there" and had the kundalini "rebel" and refuse to do
it. Maybe my kundalini likes the nice way I ask? Maybe I'm not really
dealing with kundalini (then what *was* that geyser of
white-hot-light-energy-stuff that shot up out of the ground and through me
ten years ago? If it's not kundalini that I'm working with, what is it?)
Like Leslee's response to me, your words have raised more questions than
answers, but again, I don't consider that to be a bad thing.
