Hi all -

I don't email that often, but knew that I needed to when my niece called me for advice. It was advice that I couldn't give, 'cause I just don't know the answers.

She and a friend of hers (eighth graders) are both seeing what she calls ghosts...a friend who died, one of their grandfathers who also died, a cat who died, and others who they don't know. Two questions : the girls want to communicate, but don't know how, and my niece is hearing pans rattling and things being moved etc. in her house (and is a little afraid) and wants to do something about it. She lives with her dad who is oblivious and not at all open to things like that, but her mom, who sees her on weekends and with whom she has a wonderful relationship, has bought a book on spells. The girls are both different physically (they are quite large), in attitude and ourlook and so forth, from their peers and often suffer ridicule, loneliness, and non-compatibility from and with their peers.

I told her to surround herself with white light and ask for protection, and never to impinge on the free will of anyone, but ghosts are not in my line of experience and I don't want to tell her something that isn't so.

Could I get some feedback for her from the list? I told her that I'd ask and that I'd forward any answers that were helpful.
