Hello Chris,

Personally, I'm not so sure of exactly what Goddess
does or does not do.

You mentioned the Lifeforce. Some people like to
add a touch of neo-mythology to their paradigm and
call it Goddess, but that doesn't necessarily mean
they believe it has an agenda or any kind of mind
of it's own. I'm sure you'll agree that the awakening
process does make us androgynous on many levels.
The life energy seems feminine. "Goddess" suits it
well.

I'm one of those hopeless types who believe that
deity does exist as sentient beings in our universe.
I also believe that it (our they) also exist inside us.
The inside job, I found, is the best approach.

I also found that the goddess' and gods don't get
upset if one doesn't believe in them. One of the
best sources of comedy is the notion of the
Christian god having a bad hair day because a
person didn't flatter him with religion.

Maybe I haven't gotten over the mysticism
revival of the 1970's that swept me up, but after
all I've explored and experienced, I still believe
that deity is real. That idea works for me. It also
fuels my imagination. Call it creative faith based
thinking, if you will.

And I could be wrong about it all.

If somehow the veil was parted on the cosmos
and all we found was dead, empty space, I'm
ready to accept that.

I can't make a bigger fool of myself than I
already have... so what do I have to loose? ;-)
