This is a poll done last October. Sorry for the delay in tallying.
Nine people responded (on list) to Angelique's Siddhi Poll
(See Cautionary notes below):
1.) Telepathy.
Have you heard other peoples thoughts: 4 yes
Yes... Sometimes it sounds like anything from shouting to a soft
voice or a vague whisper. It is not an everyday occurrence, thank you
god. Sometimes is a whole body experience when they are far away. I
am in their body seeing through their eyes.

I find that telepathy works most consistently for me around people I
am familiar with... but the finishing of sentences and "split-second"
jiving on nonsequitors is not limited to the husband (uncanny!),
friends (helpful) and coworkers (extremely helpful <g>).
I recall a standard endcap to argument that my husband and I used to
have: he would lament that I wouldn't talk about things (endlessly..
hehe.. oh, oops, couldn't resist) and I would lament in return that I
wished he could "just read my mind!"
Well, guess what? This clueless fella has begun "reading my mind" in
quite entertaining ways. Long road trips with vast amounts of silent
time, me lost in my thoughts... thinking about, say, something we
have never talked about or have not talked about in some time,
certainly something that hasn't been talked about during the car
trip... and John starts gabbing on about an interesting thought he
just had... <grin> ...the thought I was just having.
Some day, I imagine we may be that old couple at the next boothe,
ordering the same food, raising forks to mouths at the same time,
drinking at the same time, staring off into space, lost in their own
thoughts and seemingly paying no attention to each other.

There have been occasions where I hear a definite voice that is foreign to
me. It was definitely on broadcast. One occasion was when I called my
parents. My step-dad was telling me they were about to eat. I heard
"red-beans and rice" in my head. He broadcasted that to me. That is what
they were eating.

Fluctuates between a to c. I don't hear them as
words..I just 'know' what they're thinking and why
they're thinking it...what their motivations are.
2) Have you projected your thoughts into other peoples minds? 4 yes
Used to play something called "The Game" which I learned from my
Sensei. (Not a good thing to do to people who are unaware of the game)
The idea was to make someone do something by thought alone. The
person who was the target was suppose to catch themselves (and me!)
before they went into the act. I could make someone scratch their
ears like they had hot ants crawling all over it or make someone
cross or uncross their legs and arms. It can be a fun play game with
someone you are intimate with even if they live miles away.
My spirit self likes to take off and visit people and teach them in
their dreams I have been told. Sometimes it likes to make love to
them which was very disconcerting to me when I first started getting
reports back.... Sigh... now it is like, "Oh well...another form of
ministry and service..."

done it more on a conscious basis as of late. It's one to be cautious with.

look at me real funny..quizically. I'm not aware of it

Yes. And their physical problems and conditions and even medications.

I had to step back from my adopted little sister recently. Her aura was
complete red and I could feel her
emotions coming through plain as day.

I can feel the heart beat and breathing of another as if it were my
own, feeling my body trying to adjust to their pattern even if this
person lives on the other side of the planet or in another time.
I can feel their disease and despair and I can feel their joy and
their health.
I can put my consciousness into rocks and trees and the ocean and the
wind and experience the universe as 'they' do. I can feel stars
dying, a new plant growing, Shiva and Shakti making love.
I can feel the bliss of the creators as the universe is being born.
I can also take someone there so they can feel it for themselves. I
dream the dreams of other people and I appear in their dreams to
teach and love them.

or eliminate as its very uncomfortable, especially the
lower emotions.

Yep...do it all the time unconsciously. Most everybody does it
unconsciously, awake or unawake. It is why I practice non attachment
as best as I know how.

When I do this it is a conscious effort with use of colors. Pink is good for
sending unconditional love, green or blue for healing. Gold, silver and
purple for enlightenment. Be careful with the last three.
Enlightenment can be a horrible thing for someone desiring it.

d) I'm very conscious of it and purposly keep myself
in a white 'bubble' so that I don't do it. To me its
the law of free will and I won't do it unless the
other person permits it..same as projecting my
thoughts.
5) Have you heard, felt or seen ghosts, spirits or other non
physical presences?
Ghosts, ascended Masters, friends who were astral travelling,
Faeries, divine or angelic beings? Please specify which, and how
often.

Done all of the above. Fortunately, it is not an everyday occurrence.
Usually there has to be some personal significance to moi attached to
it. I don't see them like I see physical people walking down the
street (although I know there are people who do that).
I can sit out on my balcony at night and see beings dancing and
sitting on apartment roofs or flying through the sky, but I have to
pay attention to see them. I remember once, years ago, walking on the
Gulf of Mexico beach in South Padre Island, Texas. It was midnight
and I sat up from the surf to reflect on the water and the sounds.
There were a good amount of people strolling the beach for it was
during a holiday. I then noticed there were 'air patrols' of some
indeterminately shaped things moving up and down the beach about 20
feet above us. One would come by about ever 5 minutes at a speed and
navagation system that wasn't dependent on air lift. The things were
transparent but had a 3d dimension. No, it didn't look like a space
ship. It was definately organic in shape and appearance.
One of them noticed me noticing it. It descended and settled around
me. No physical substance just a feeling in my body. It did not feel
good or bad, just different. So, being I had only had my K awakened a
few months previous and my metaphysical, otherworldly understandings
were about zero, I started to panic and become frightened. Too weird
for my little mind. It rose up and flew off at an unbeliveable angle
and disappeared.

Seen and felt. A most beautiful presence was in my room recently. I can
only describe it as angelic. I am starting to sense the feeling in my energy
that relate to others connections as well. It is a very useful way to clear
out garbage.

plus those on other planets, different dimensions and
in other 'times'. Time frames that are in the future
and in the past. I don't know the correct 'labels' to
put on them or how to describe it as I don't
understand what/who they are..still learning.. :)
It happens especially when the higher chakras are
opened..in particulary the third eye...so the
frequency depends on whats happing in my spiritual
life at the time.
6) Have you known things that were going to happen, before they
did? How far in advance did you know? 4 yes
Sometimes, not something I excel in. I am a better predictor and
reader of human behavior and character in the short term.

Hehe... yet another one. Knowing is a trick. What I "know" is
potential... the outcome is one of many... possible, but not always
in the exact way it presents itself. The flavors are often there, but
not necessarily the details.

I once bet a friend of my a soda that a friend of ours would have a minor
accident in his car. I said it will most likely happen on this day 2 months
away, but it could be anytime before. The accident, minor finder bender,
happened on the day. I enjoyed that soda. My friend still doesn't believe
it is possible to see the future. I also have an internal radar detector. I
just know that a policeman is ahead and adjust my speed accordingly. This
may be the one ability that I would recommend we all strive for. Heh heh.

or non-action is required of me. World events I've
seen years in advance, some still haven't happend yet.
More personal things a day to a few hours in advance
e.g. my path, my close friends or family.
7) Have you known things you could not logically know, like where
some ones lost object was, or what they were doing when you were
not physically present? Other things? Feel free to give examples.

I am not a very good locator. I would have to practice with a
pendulum to train my body to recognize the feelings. It comes and
goes. My k is a pretty good "dowser" for asking questions. Flush of
bliss is a positve assent...I don't seem to use it except for non
mundane things in that way.

The best example is from when I was 6 years old. My mother lost her watch.
She asked me to visualize in my mind where it was located. I saw it plain as
day on her desk and told her so.

I didn't really understand some of the "messages" I was given until the
symbols were later made clear. Things like I AM THAT I AM, and Alpha and
Omega. I had heard the phrases, of course, but at the time I received the
messages I didn't know their significance--still don't, really :)).
Perhaps this should come under something like "channeling"??

or at work. I get psychometry (sp?) readings of
objects and people all the time. Mainly past lives, or
things that will happen in their current life..even
future lives. I learnt very early that there is no
such thing as linear time.

they did? Have you ever felt like your thoughts affect what other
people do, like you have mind control powers?

Some people have accused me of this and accuse me of being a mind
reader, finishing sentences of others and all that. I am just a
perceptive student of human behavior and I am a good manipulator when
I want to be.

This is one I must be cautious of. I don't like to create robots. Let's
suffice it to say that with proper application a lower conscious being is not
hard to manipulate. My looking into it is more so that I don't do it. I
find that it is very natural to try to control another's behavior.

Yes....but I would put it in the deja vu category. I will be
someplace and feel deja vu and then I will remember the dream. It
validates that I am going in the right direction for me.

goes under mind control :)

Roses while coming home on the bus in the winter after 5 pm with all
the smelly people. It was bizarre. I couldn't smell it on me but
inside me. Gardenias while gaving a spontaneous psychic experience
about someone (lived his life, watched him put in jail..like a POW)

Yep... not recently, as I have been feeling fairly devilish. <g>
I find that though others will notice very sweet smells on "this
body", I am unable to smell them. Odd... as I have a fairly acute
sense of smell. Question to Klisters: are any of you able to smell
your own sweetness?

Sigh...good things light bulbs are inexpensive and I prefer natural

I can always see others auras with my internal eyes. Rarely, I will
be overcome by seeing visual auras that obscure my vision and it
makes me almost 'blind'.

I don't know what I'm seeing. <grin> Certain people seem to
consistently stimulate "seeing things" more than others. I have
wondered whether this has to do with a certain "chemistry"
or "affinity" with those people... 'like minds' and 'two-way streets'
stuff.

that seem > to wink in and out of existence... often seen in bright

Yep...I call them tadpoles or cosmic sperm cause they look just like
sperm swimming under a microscope. I saw or noticed them for the
first time when I was 11 or 12. I was staring out the window on a jet
plane and saw them everywhere in the midafternoon sun. What scared me
was then I was able to see them inside the plane!
On high prana days I can see them in front of my face even inside my
apartment. (and no, they aren't dust bunnies either ;P ) On high
prana days they are very excitedly wiggly and squiggly and densely
packed. On low prana days they seem kinda sluggish and sparse. High
prana days I would consider high sunlight days if even there is some
clouds. I have seen them in the dark too but it is like they are
moving through syrup.

But kinda made up a story about it because I never knew... Its dust
in my eyes, or I'm seeing the inside of my eyes. Cool. Things

was the spirit of my grandmother who cared for me
I often found these glowing against the night sky and always knew which one
was a loved one to me in my life. I never knew what they were or
what it was about. I am finding out more and more day by day of things I
didn't or haven't even thought of as an experience.

Question: Does anyone share or meld consciousness with different
kinds of consciousness, like the Deva of Storms, Mountains, the
Oceans, etc. I do and can experience the quality of character that
they are. No words, just feeling states are what happens for me.

I'll also add the very modern Siddhi of finding parking places. LOL This one
is uncanny. People pull out right in front of me, in areas where places are
usually impossible to find.
I also often find now that with a bit of patience, problems/duties seem now
to clear up on their own. I don't advise abusing this one, though!

How can I tell you that you are trading emeralds for straw?
Hmm.. Ok. Here is the choice you are faced with. You can continue along
the path of the magician, motivated by the ego based desire to impress
people and appear powerful.. and on that path, you will gain the powers you
are gaining and whup de doo. Yeah, telepathy, astral projection, some
thought projection, weather stuff and small synchronicities.. seeing ghosts
and snooping peoples heads...
or.. you can give up the ego that needs to be fed with approval and the
appearance of power.. surrender any need for it, and the person you think
of as "J" too... and that is when you get real power. Miracles.
Manifestations, spontaneous healings, you name it.. as Goddess Wills,
*through* the vessel that is J... not as Jesse's insecure ego demands.
Examine the part of you that seeks glory.. underneath it, is a
different need. What is the hole within that you want to fill with external
approval?
I don't mean to be harsh.. I have been where you are at, glorying in my
power to "make" things happen... and now I am where I am and miracles come
effortless and every day... autopilot. Goddess provides. I tell people I
work on, "I am not in charge, it just looks like it"... so that they are
directed back to the Divine instead of wanting me to be Goddess for them.

You speak of wanting these powers to use for good.. but the power does
not come till you no longer have any motive to use it selfishly.. and
wanting to manipulate people and impress them so they will like you, is
selfish.
...
J the individual who wants to impress people, can attain some
power.. but J the infinite Divine Spirit is All. God-powered.
They cannot really co-exist, one must make way for the other. Insecure
J is walking around like a beggar with a cup, "please love me, give me
approval and attention"... Yet... with surrender, comes a love from within
that is richer than any external love and approval. Your cup runneth over,
and there is plenty to share. Right now, you are giving your power away to
the people you want to impress. Do you think they will treat it kindly? The
power you claim, came from Goddess by the law of Free Will. Give it back.
That infinity knows what to do with it, better than you do... and it will
come back multiplied.
Guys like Uri Geller and "the Amazing Kreskin" talk about "their power"
and do the psychic parlor tricks.. but the real deal, is to be found in
people who do not own their power, so much as it owns them. Those who speak
of being a vessel, a channel for a Higher power can usually blow the other
guys out of the water with miraculous abilities, real miracles happen
around them all the time and they take the intuition for granted just as
any other sense.
If you are wanting to "use" the power to promote your ego, then you
will hit a ceiling on what you can do... not to mention the karmic feedback
smacking you in the head. But, if you are humble and get out of your own
way and let the power use you as its vessel... then the whole world changes.
Where you are at now, you are so self absorbed you are not even really
aware of the many people of power on this list.. You speak of wanting to be
different, well, you are different, and unique just as we all are, every
snowflake... but if you really want to be different, then you have to join
a non awakened list! I would guess about 60% of people on this list have
experienced everything you could describe, and a whole lot of other stuff
too..

Ah, if awakening/enlightenment/spiritual 'growth' were about powers
and miracles, what then? heeheehee we would all have to become super
beings first. And of course if we were all super-duper caped crusaders
then we wouldn't need to become awakened/enlightened.
Shiddis are not required. They are only more of the 'possibilites' of
any given life. They are more phenomena and experience. They may or
may not be part of any given person's awakening.
Even Jesus said that he only did miracles so that some folks might
believe. He preferred that folk had even the smallest amount of faith.
I have been enjoying reading the different responses to the siddhis
poll. What seems to be a common and I might add, graceful, thread is
the unwillingness to take personal advantage of those siddhis. This is
quite excellent, I think.
One must be very careful with powers. Properly used, they can create
an opening for the user as well as the recipient of that use.
Immaturely used, powers will bang the user right back. If not
immediately, then sooner or later.
When I was a kid of about 14 (50 something now) I wanted to have super
powers. Well, if you read as much science fiction and as many comic
books as I did then...you would too. :-)
So, I sat down one day to work on getting 'powers beyond those of
mortal men'. No, I wasn't sure how to do it. I just knew that if I
concentrated hard enough that something wonderful would happen.
There I was trying so hard to achieve a 'breakthrough'. Then something
started 'speaking' to me. It had the feel of a kindly old uncle or
aunty. It asked me what I would do with super powers, if I had them.
I replied that I would battle eveil and the bad guys. And the
'speaker' asked me how I would know who the bad guys were. That was
easy, they are the ones who hurt people. They should be stopped I
thought to this 'voice'.
It responded that that was fine, but how would I stop them? I thought
that I would force them to stop what they were doing. Alright it said.
Then it offered that the bad guys would still be bad guys. Could I
change them so that they weren't bad guys?
I thought and thought about that. It seemed obvious that the bad
people had to have some sort of radical shift in their way of thinking
and being. To change them one would have to make dramatic changes in
the very fundamental functioning of the 'bad guys'. One would have to
change their chemistry, their personality and that way they could be
'corrected'.
Then the energy of the presence gave off the most kindly of feelings.
It asked me, then, if I thought I had the right to change a person so.
Then the thought came that in order for any change to occur, it had to
start within the 'bad guy'. If it didn't, if it came as an outside
force, it would not be a true change and it would have no meaning and
no beauty.
The presence exuded the feeling of - ah yes, much better!

The powers manifest only when there is the ego....
Self-Realization may be accompanied by occult powers or it may not be. If
the person had sought such powers before Realization, he may get the powers
after Realization. There are others who had not sought such powers and had
attempted only Self-Realisation. They do not manifest such powers.
These powers may also be sought and gained even after Self-Realisation. but
then they are used for a definite purpose, i.e. the benefit of others...
Also: p. 17. "Telepathy or radio enables one to see and hear from afar.
They are all the same, hearing and seeing. Whether one hears from near or
far does not make any difference in hearing. The fundamental factor is the
hearer, the subject. Without the hearer or the seer, there can be no hearing
or seeing. The latter are the functions of the mind. The occult powers
(siddhis) are therefore only in the mind. They are not natural to the Self.
That which is not natural, but acquired, cannot be permanent, and is not
worth striving for.
They denote extended powers. A man is possessed of limited powers and is
miserable; he wants to expand his powers so that he may be happy. But
consider if it will be so; if with limited perceptions one is miserable, with
extended perceptions the misery must increase proportionately. Occult powers
will not bring happiness to anyone, but will make him all the more miserable!
Moreover what are these powers for? The would-be occultist ...desires to
display the siddhis so that others may appreciate him. He seeks
appreciation, and if it is not forthcoming he will not be happy. ..
