Musings on the Art of Ornithological Dejecta.

Ah, yes.
Having never browsed a similar exhibition, I took it
upon myself to allow my thoughts a more liberal
page on which to expound my critical entrees.

Let us not waste time on haphazard droppings
of careless sparrows. What truly has enraptured
me are the bold yet graceful elimination's of
the mallard duck.

Note the spacing between the two splashes. It is
almost as though the bird is challenging us to
contemplate, is this deliberate work of skillful and
precise rendering, or is this akin to the free expression
of a later Pollock?

The mind reels as the tongue stammers. But as we
grope for definitions is the presence of true greatness,
we do know that this bird has deposited for all
humanity, what is quite simply and
unequivocally, a masterpiece.

  Respectfully,

Charles W. Fentworth

(art critic extraordinaire)
