Thanks very much for pointing this out. Your absolutely right. To summarise:
- There are genuine past life memories of the being.
- There are past life fragments (usually unpleasant experiences) that have
been taken on from other beings, usually them projecting them on to you in
their attempt to get rid of them from themselves OR/AND your openness to
receiving them.
- There is also the universal mind or Akashic Record which can for most only
be accessed in trance like states or from being highly awakened.
- There are also body cell type memories that are passed down on the genetic
line.
- You may also stumble into past experiences of entities connected on to you
or in your environment. Usually these hang around as they can't let go of
something, but sometimes they want revenge and will try to snarl you up as
much as they can.
Each have differences which are not always apparent as you are working
through them but become clearer as you release and resolve the experience.
When you hit your own past life memories they are very real and intimate
with you. They usually explain a lot of who you are and what you are being
now. Usually you will not mistake these for anything else. You will just
know that you were there. The feelings of the place, the other people, even
things that can be said (how you interpreted and understood them at the
time) can be picked up, as well as images and responses to all our senses.
With others memories that you have taken on it is easy to take them as your
own but they don't usually have the sequence of events prior to and after
the occasion. It's like one block incident with no clear beginnings or
endings. Often the whole thing just vanishes or dissolves when you work
through it and it becomes more unreal as you try to piece it together later.
I.e. it's out of context.
Regarding the Akashic record, access to this is usually limited to people
who have a high level or responsibility and awareness. If you have
egocentric motives you will generally not be able to view this. It's only
when you are following the divine will or are somewhat unburdened from the
ego that you will be granted access to this sort of information. Universal
information can come to you channelled from other beings, in dreams and in
trance like states otherwise. I also link this with being able to access
memories of objects in your environments or spend time in a place and move
in time seeing things how they are from a different time. For me this is
more localised though and the memories are outside of what I consider myself
to be although in reality I've extended a part of myself to access this
information.
The body (cell) memories can be easy to mix with the past life memories as
how you perceive them when they lift off of you. It's best to use your own
judgement as to whether they are yours specifically or through the genetic
line. At the moment I don't have a clear indication of distinguishing these.
You could check this using a bio-feedback type method (such as reflexology)
or asking your higher self.
As for entities - you will usually get a feel of location on these when
communicating with them and then work on helping them relieve themselves of
the things they can't let go of. For me they tend to be snap-shot type
experiences of one thing rather than a sequence. They are stuck in one time
and place usually because of one thing usually. Sometimes you can get into
their memories but I would suggest you get them to do the work. I usually
find them to be cooperative - just contacting them is a wake up call for
them usually. The vengeful ones can take a bit of friendly prising!
