Dear Jennifer, List,
You are wise to ask what perils are involved?! - What are the perils of becoming a "healer?" - Let me count the ways;
1) You can unknowingly, or knowingly, transfer the energy of your nervous system to another. This energy can take up to ten embodiments to replentish.
2) You create a figure eight flow of energy between yourself and the "client" which can sap you of lifeforce and open you up to entity possesion - or worse. Energy rarely travels just one way. (And don't imagine you can make protection prayers to prevent this either) People's entities (and only an adept does not have any entities) sit there literally with their tongues hanging out ready to lap up your light to sustain themselves.
3) You can make serious karma with the individual in numerous ways; By denying them the opportunity to work out something they specifically came into embodiment to work out; by changing their situation such that it adversely affects their soul development (perhaps a loss of humility, for example); by subconsciously taking their light or energy; by interfering with their divine plan; they go out and "sin" again recreating the exact same karmic illness patterns (cause and effect) thus making for themselves and YOU even more karma, etc., etc.
Remember, even Jesus did not heal everyone who asked him.
4) It is even possible to loose pieces of your very soul to another! - and that is a whole 'nother subject.
5) Often "healing" is in truth nothing more than the rearranging of a person's entities inside of their aura or subtle bodies. It "feels" good but does nothing to cleanse the core karmic energy patterns.
6) You can end up actualy taking on the other persons karma, which YOU are then karmically responsible for balancing!!!
7) There's more, but I'm tired now.
You should not "heal" unless you are absolutely certain it is Gods Will and under His/Her direction in each and every case.
If you want to heal somebody, pray for them, or send them to an doctor. But always, always, always - add at the end of your prayers;
"Nevertheless, not my will but God's be done!"
[and this should be said after any prayer]
In this way, you surrender your light and prayers to God to adjust and use as He/She best sees fit. You make only good karma in the process of TRUE HEALING that will extend to the etheric cause and core of the individuals illness! The Light of God never fails!
Happy turkey day one and all!!!
