For chakra spinning to work you need to visualize the chakra you intend to
work with. It is actually quite fun. You can work with any particular
chakra at any time. I suggest grounding first, or the energy may not have a
place to go.

1. ground
2. visualize a chakra with the outer ring perpendicular to the next inner
ring. The outer ring should be in an vertical position in respect to the
body and the next one in should be horizontal.
3. pick a point on each ring.
4. spin the outer ring out and away from you so it spins down as it is
moving away.
5. spin the next inner ring so that it move clockwise when viewed from
above.
6. cause the points chosen to hit as the spinning occurs.

This can be done with any one chakra, or all combined. The effects are
quite pleasurable, at least for me. If the desire is to spin all chakras
start at 1 and work to 7 doing the odd ones. Then go to 0 and work to 8
doing the even ones. 0 is about 3 feet below you and 8 is about 3 feet
above you.

I feel the energy being generated. That may not be the case for all. If it
becomes overpowering send it to ground. For me it helps in clearing out the
chakras.
