Subject: [K-list] Kundalini question - how do you know...

I am curious to find out from those who are accustomed to Kundalini
activity and know its effects well whether what I have been feeling
and experiencing is familliar or bears a likeness to your experience.

I have been feeling heat in certain areas of my body for a few months
now. It strikes me as odd that the heat comes in just some areas,
not all over. At first I felt it almost anywhere, but it has settled
now so that most often it is in the back of my neck, lower back, and
above and between my eyes. Once when I was laying in bed I felt an
intense heat radiating in my lower back that was so intense it felt
as if it were burning inside. Recently I felt it in my hands and
shared it with a close friend that I trust, to see what he felt
without touching my hands - he told me it felt like the heat coming
from a stove. Most especially I notice that heat in the back of my
neck seems to migrate to above and between my eyes - followed by
intense pressure, and an almost itchy feeling, and I later develop a
headache. It is rare for me to get headaches, but these are severe.
The heat itself feels like a burning liquid, similar to the sensation
of swallowing a strong, heated wine, and permeates whatever area
instantaneously. It occurs most often during times of intense
emotion, extreme stress, or strong spiritual or mental focus.

Has anyone here felt similar things as a result of their K? Or is
this something else...
