Thinking now, about the inner-impact that the world events have
triggered in me, I think that sooner or later I was going to have to
deal with beliefs and realities anyway... but I'll tell you what...
watching my inner demons explode all over the planet as they have was
a horrific way to be woken up.. I asked for, and was given ... a
little less intensity, if you know what I mean... : )
Now I find myself back to the basics, questioning simple(?) basic
beliefs. Stuff like:
I create my own reality... every thought is a prayer... two or more
joined together... prayer, manifesting... free will...
responsibility... mine and, well, everyones...
world affairs, magnified on a personal level, and vise versa... I am
stuck.
My delema is that I have believed that we create our realities..
individually and collectively... but I am bewildered now about if
this is true.
What makes those who are oppressed in the world oppressed to begin
with? I can see how oppression happens, but what I dont see is how
this comes about for the oppressed. There seems to be a lot of finger
pointing at the oppressors but not at the oppressed. The opressors
can choose to stop oppressing, but who is to stop the oppressors from
manifesting their oppression? Does it interfere with thier free will
to try?
World peace, seems like a worthy manifestion/prayer, but not a
realistic one, how does one create a reality of peace worldwide. It
doesnt seem to me that it would be possible, at least as long as
there are indivduals who are personally, with indivdual free-will,
creating/manifesting oppresssed realities. Pointing a finger at the
oppressor... It doesnt work to say that the oppressed do not do it
to themselves, it seems they *must* create their reality too. I came
by this from observing my own tiny world... it seems to me that the
basic truths would not change, they would apply to individuals as
well as the collective... wouldnt they? If so, How am I to deal with
a world of people where some are creating oppression, and some are
creating being oppressed, where does that leave me who - on a good
day - doesnt want to live in a world with either? We can't interfere
with free will... supposedly, so what happens to the free will of
those who get stuck in the middle... if there even is such a thing to
begin with as oppressor/oppressed... if each of us truely has free
will to create our realities then it is all free will, isn't it?...
doesnt the desire of not wanting to oppress ... oppress those whos
free will it is to have become oppressed...
oh, yeah, I can hear the 'blame the victim' thought in that, but I
can't get past the truth of it, on a personal or world wide level...
So. this is where I find myself now that the storm is over... back at
the basic questions, floating around wondering where I missed the
boat, again.. wondering the same things that I did as a child, simple
questions, like, why don't prayers work? Why do good things happen to
bad people? Why do bad things happen to good people. What does it
matter, does anything matter?
Is this candid camera...?
I feel like I am lost at sea, I would appricate someone throwing
something overboard that floats, don't matter much right now if it is
attached to a line or not, cause I am not altogether sure yet if I
want to come back on board... but I am not so far gone that I want to
sink either.
