Hello Susan and Tony,

I do not believe that here is a nice place to talk about who is responsible for what on an econo/politico/socio/cultural standpoint. Its like k people talking about diet... what should one eat or not eat.... It only brings out food fight. Yet I do believe that as for the food ones comes to find is best for him or her, a deep research must be done by each citizen of this planet as to what may be the real cause for inequality of income for the same work or power.

Just to take a simple thing like SIDA for example, some wanted to blame the monkeys, others wanted to blame the people who had contact with monkeys, and here the imagination goes wild in the form of contact, to blaming the sexually active in our societies, to the last running hypothesis I know off, of blaming the vaccination campaigns done in Africa in the 60's, 70's using the same needle thus creating a laboratory for the virus to becomes what it is today.

If we step on this kind of exploration on this list, we are steeping into a food fight. IMO.

I do enjoy any kind of food by the way, on the path I follow, if my body could come to nourish itself on plain dirt or sand I would feel it had evolved. Yet I do also feel they are places already existing to explore those things more deeply.

On a funny side I see Ben Laden as Tony trying to have a talk with George Bush as Susan.

The more you write the more fonder I get of you. You remind me of my
Bible College days when the rest of the fundamentalist preachers
would throw around stats to baffle the flocks but really offerred no
workable, reasonable solution, just made people feel guilty and
miserable. How responsible of a leader is that?

TB is a disease of poor hygiene, malnutrition, and poverty. I suppose
the US of A can step in and perform a rescue operation by sending in
millions of TB vaccinations and antibiotics but that only treats the
symptom and not the solution, doesn't it? I suppose they would then
be blamed for being interventionists and forcing their easy solutions
on other cultures.
