Nice question Steve,
It depends. Did he justify his acts? Karma is really a very personal thing. The way you present it is that he did this
because of this. That is a justification. If he instead confronts, "Ya I killed alot of those Nazi bastards!"(with no
because's), and takes responsibility for it then he is not carry around excess baggage. Man is basically good. He does
not want to harm those around him. When he does, and he justifies it, karma is created. The justification occurs
because man, being good, wants to picture his acts in the best of ways. Wars, while potentially beneficial at the group
level, plays havoc to many on the individual level. The important part to keep in mind is that the individual, through
negative thinking based on the justifications, subconsciously is creating the karma. Nothing else. One can rise above
karma and no longer be effect to it. It does no one any good. It is not a good teacher and tends to hold back those,
even when their deeds are very worthwhile in the big picture. It's a crazy, misguided and misunderstood system and
the sooner it's gone the better! The fact that it disguises itself well enough to be seen as good cracks me up. Good
karma, is not good karma. It is one's positive thinking and visualizations. So, what is viewed normally as good and bad
karma is all coming from within!
I realized I was making an assumption in understanding in the above. For me it is readily understood that one's
thoughts create their future. If the thinking is negative, the future is. If positive, so is the future. Negative thoughts pull
in negative acts on the person. Etc...
Hope this answers your question.
with peace and love,
