Isn't it amazing how life is a series of waves.
Since the essential nature of light is waves (and
particles, some could rightly argue), then the
foundation of the human field, also could be said
to have at various levels a rising and a falling,
a contracting and an expanding.
I noticed this recently when my Qi Gong teacher
died (i was but a few feet away when it
happened), and the grief, it was (i truly tried
to stay mindful, to stay present and allow the
feelings to move through, as all k practitioners
have learned one way or another to do), it was
like i was the Ocean. That was amazing to me, and
then i heard several times in the night (we had a
gathering, his students), others saying the same
thing. Up and down, expansion and contraction. It
is one thing to read in a holy book, it is
another to personally experience...they are not
the same (though i will not put down the books!).

And so perhaps he was continuing to teach me
(this was my thought at the time), to let go, to
move the chi (prana, orgone...whatever), to move
the anguish through me, as it wanted...that is
fascinating. So often it is in the backs of our
minds to assume that we create consciously much
of what happens to us...but there are processes,
we just simply are not aware. How long have these
waves we have been riding existed? And perhaps in
the end, we see that we are moving towards being
surfer and ocean...both the rising and the
falling. In the end, our only task is to give
what others need.
