Yes, I too once fell for this notion that pouring salt water into
one's head via the nose would help clear things out.

When one is already clear, no problem.

However, if one has a blockage in some part of the passage that won't
let the water out... one should not begin to believe that the water
is simply evaporating when it disappears into one's head. Please
note: any water that does not flow back out the other nostril is
INDEED remaining INSIDE one's head.

Hehe!

Oh, and yes, this can cause a HUGE sinus problem... huger, I'm
sure... than the sinus problem one is trying to resolve...
