just came to my bird bath for a drink...
haven't seen one in many years... they are little birds of the bush with a
beautiful tinkling song..
I've never seen one in the suburbs of Melbourne before.
inspired me to go out and clean the birdbath out [first time in months!]
it followed me round the garden flitting/circling around me very close..
as if it had asked for a bath.. and knew what I was doing...followed me up
to the tap and back and waited chirping in the camelia tree til I was done
then had a lovely flutteries in nice clean water... he he!
still flitting round the garden.. hope it stays for a bit :)

takes me back to when I was young.. and then a time before... in the bush...
these little ones would follow my footsteps dancing around.. all light :)

and now... there is rest
