Hi Bayla and Abe,

I'm fine. I WAS down near the WTC when it happened, I work down there. Couldn't leave my building till the smoke died down, then made my way uptown thru the debris, downtown looks like a desert, white ash all over everything, used wet paper towels to walk thru the dust. Am staying at a friend's house. Several of us gathered there.

But I'm fine. The city is very strange today, of course.
