Hi Elsbeth,

When I was initially treated by a psychiatrist, there was no understanding
at all of kundalini or the spiritual side of my symptoms and problems.
A few years ago I went to a female psychiatrist who is also a
gestalttherapist. She made a suggestion that my bipolar disorder might not
be that at all - after she heard my story. At that time I was confused,
since I myself had no idea of kundalini - allthough i was experiencing it. I
was repressing it myself.
Recently I went back to her and talked about kundalini-awakening. She
totally agreed that that was going on with me - she saw it earlier than I
did - and that my symptoms of bipolar disorder were interacting with this
process.
It is the first time I could openly talk to a person from the medical
circuit about this.
I have a friend who is a psychiatrist - she is willing to listen to me
about it, but is hardly openminded about it and considers it something that
she does not have to know about or deal with. I guess her attitude is still
the main one over here!
