I thought i should write this because it's something that
(at least I) one has to remind oneself often. For me to
sit here and see that the world out there right now is not
at peace affects me a great deal, and that includes my
friends and family. I think this is one of the biggest
challenges for us, to test the power of our spirit, how
much we trust It to take over our mind (and the worlds) and
see that by just loving ourselves we are loving and curing
the world in return. Sometimes we dont see that, but deep
down that love you offered to someone is being reciprocated
in one way or another, somewhere out there. It may not be
our own friend either, but the important thing is to
realize that Love has it's own nature and it will work in
its own ways, not the ways we think it does, it has a mind
of its own. When we think a friend is suffering Love is
there trying to make him/her surrender inside, everything
serves spiritual growth. Right now I can think of many
people that are "in pain" and I can be suffering about it,
I used to at one time, but now I realize the Truth and that
they must be where they are, they must cross that bridge
that leads us to the final Truth of all...and it doesnt
happen overnite, ego develops and surrenders with time.
anyway, just thought i'd write more about this since i take
my life not as my own but as the life of humanity, at least
that is how i feel, and to love oneself also means to love
all.
