Why, I do pray to and ask guidance from an "other" every day; and I
have received many answers. Would you care to tell me how you have
come to ascertain that there is no "other"?
It could be that this "other" does exist, but he only rewards those
who seek him diligently--if you don't believe in him, he will not
answer your prayers, and you will feel justified in not believing in
him. But that does not make him not real.
There is no other...

Well, I believe in you too. But I do not believe you are God; neither
do I believe that of myself. I do believe that Yah (God) has adopted
me into his divine family, by way of Yahshua (Jesus), and I am now
spiritually gestating in preparation for birth as a member of the God
family. (As Paul said: "It does not yet appear what we shall be...")
In the meantime I am allowed to "borrow" some of his power and
authority in accordance with his sovereign will. But it does not
originate with me, and I do not have the final say as to how that
power will be employed and what it will do.
All you folks who think you are God, I'm sure, are very nice and
sincere. But if you want me to believe you are God, I want to see you
do some God-like things. Move a mountain! Make a bush burn without
burning up! Raise someone from the dead! Create a man and woman!
Create a planet! Or a universe!
Well ... come on, already!
If you can't do those things, then it seems to me that you are not God
in any meaningful sense of the word. It's about action, not about
theory. I think it was Paul who said "the kingdom of God does not
consist in words, but in **power**."
Keep searching. There may be more "important and shattering
discoveries" to come yet.
