Actually Antoine, I believe this shows a sign of gaining understanding of oneself. Asking others for advice on this matter is a step in the right direction, I believe.
Sometimes knowing that something is not right is not enough to be able to fix it, one needs to get the proper tools to do it. I find a wise man will look to those that
have traveled the road already for advice.

To Sean I wanted to add some more information that may be beneficial in sorting this out. What is occurring is the fixed ideas you have gained from those in your
past are manifesting and taking charge of aspects of your life. You need to remove the fixed ideas in order to be able to move forward. Not to be a sales man, but
another approach I found effective came from a course I took with Jonathan Parker at quantumquest.com. If you're interested I will provide more details on it. He
details how to remove fixed ideas such as these. The other method I mentioned will work if you use it, but there are other tools to handle this. One thing to realize is
that you are not alone in having this supposed guardian. You are aware enough to know he is there though, and that is a very good step. I have used the NLP
process I mentioned before and visualization to handle these types of things. Visualizations are very powerful when one realizes that thought is created
instantaneously on the astral and higher plains.
