Take her objection to it seriously, to start with. Really listen to what
she
has to say. It might be a fear that can be overcome - but it is not
there
for nothing.

Oh I take it very seriously and as to listening -- I feel I "hear" more
everyday.

You would be abusing here yourself if you're not carefull. I don't think
there will be a really tantric experience for her untill she works
through
the old pain of abuse - but you cannot push her to do so for your own
pleasure.
Then again, she might be willing to learn and work through the old pain,
but
take her resistance seriously, and accept her pace.

I understand she needs to work out all the old issues -- I guess my
question should have been more like -- "If I where to take a tantra
course on my own -- would I then be able to better put her fears at rest
given the "expert knowledge" gained by taking the class...??
