Subject: [K-list] the most exquisite sort of ordinariness

Dear Leaf, Dear Holly, Kundalites, God Realised, Mad people, Lurkers,
:-)
Leaf is kind and gentle and Holly is wise enough to agree that everyone
has a value and space.
I especially like the fact that she agrees with me.
(Lobster Life tip: agree with people - they know it makes sense . . .)
:-)
>of psychological grit gets exaggerated so that it can be released. We begin
>to swell up with Goddess and, for a time, our egos get swollen too -- then we
>can really see how much suffering the ego can cause (shame and
>self-deprecation are a kind of egotism, too). We think, I'm gonna become
Being ashamed is nothing to be ashamed of.
IMHO (In My 'onest Opinion)
Goddess does not swell - if we 'become aware' of Goddess then we are
mistaking ego
(the means of perception) with an object - and the objectification of the
Holy is Hocus pocus.
However in the sense you mean it . . . small is beautiful :-) >perfect and magnetic and be a teacher and write books and give shaktipat to
>thousands. Well, there's a saying that you aren't fully enlightened until
>you've lost the desire to teach. I don't think this is completely true
Most genuine, real and useful action is independent of desire.
There is a Sufi story of a teacher who gave up teaching.
'When will you return to your spiritual discourses?' she was asked.
'When they come of their own free will,' was her reply.
The greatest teachers are (again in the Sufi tradition) totally
unknown. Their teaching is through example and Heart presence. >because some people are called to teach and I don't think there is anything
>such as being "fully enlightened" because God is infinite and the poor human
>body can only tolerate so much. But I do feel that God-realization is
>actually the most exquisite sort of ordinariness. Learning this has given me
>much joy and allowed me to let go of a lot of misery. Love, Holly
Well said.
One of my secret Sat Gurus is a street sign . . .
It reads, ' GIVE WAY '

"Lobster, I wake up this morning and I'm still on the list.
This is painful. Fun is fun, but enough is enough.
You know I love you, but I can't take this list." an enlightened person
