Sat Nam is pronounced to rhyme with But Mom. Sat is sharp, Nam is
resonant. It translates, loosely, as true identity.
Wahe Guru is pronounced Wah-hey Gooroo. Maria's description of it as
a mantra of ecstasy is interesting...
You might want to do a bit of a web search on neurolinguistic
programming to check out how those words take up residence in your
body...
Mantra have a curious effect... spoken (whispered or thought)
repeated word combined with movement (as I suspect you are doing)
have an even stronger effect. Are you controlling the mantra - or is
it controlling you... and who controls which mantras you use?
Interesting question, indeed... he who controls the mantra
effectively controls... YOU. :)
Take care,
Nina
