Let's consider what we learned about twin studies. Scientists have studied
twins separated at birth, where they were raised in entirely different worlds
and still had similar thought, habits, mannerisms, and other remarkable
things.
Taking this thought a step farther, we all came from the same DNA originally,
which makes us all akin to each other to some degree, like the twins... and
considering all the manifestations of DNA out there, ie, how many millions of
people there are -- what do you suppose is the degree of liklihood of having
similar ideas ???
Talk to the folks who do alot of patents. Talk to people like me who name
companies... as soon as we think of something good, we race to the tradename
or patent office before someone else gets there first. We learned early, that
no good idea comes along without someone else also thinking of it. I have had
many a battle over "first use" to determine who can "own" the name over
someone else. Anyone in a similar environment, will have similar thought
process, and you can bet it all boils down to who thinks of it first and
actually does something about it.
