Subject: [K-list] What happens to the psyche while dreaming?
From: mgb
On 2001/07/26 08:35, mgb posted thus to the K-list: Sat Nam to everyone, I was wondering if anyone knew about
what's happening to my psyche (I'll explain). My kundalini
has just been awakened and everytime I go to sleep I still
have dreams about my fears. Last night for example, I had
a dream about many scenes of injustice in the world that I
would witness and I saw myself acting very violently
towards the discriminators or aggressors. It is my nature
reacting in a very impulsive way, however, in real life I
have not acted out these angers...maybe only verbal
confrontations, some close to violence. Funny to mention,
I read some emails about someone dreaming with a grizzly
bear and I also had a similar one. I was in a dark forest
and scared to death, the grizzly approached me and lay
beside me but did not hurt me!...but I ran even though he
didnt. In consequence, in the mornings I wake up with a
bit of anxiety, I feel like my kundalini has shut down and
I"m back to the dark side of my psyche. I meditate at
least for 15 minutes and regain some peace. Is this all a
cleansing process that my psyche is going through? My
dreams have always been about my fears, I would wake up
emotoinally disturbed.
Thank you all,
Maria.
