How is it that individuals can come up with the same solution given
no prompting?
Getting scooped sounds remarkably similar to what happens when a
group of architectural design students are asked to produce "parti"
designs (basic, rough idea models... often just masses bulked
together) for a given design problem: there will invariably be
repetition of parti's.
There are more examples, but I have no time to go into them... I'm
sure you can supply them for yourself. :)
