What is surrender?
Surrender is letting go, trusting God/dess will handle all things for you.
Surrender is like getting into the rollercoaster cart without knowing if the
track is good, yet you do know, because God/dess is involved with you.
Surrender is neutral position. Not bringing in your Ego self, your self
focus. Throwing away arrogance, wantings, guilt, stubborness, resentment,
vendictiveness, fear, fear of fear, worry, future plans, attachments,
investments, expectations. God/dess is all there is, you dont need to know
what is at the end of the roller coaster track. Whatever it is, it is what
God/dess has designed.
Surrender is throwing away willfulness and leaving self to sit back and watch
the events unfold without things "sticking to you" which means causing energy
to not be focused on God/dess, but instead, your Self.
Surrender means to let go and let God/dess. To quit promoting outcomes the
way you wish them to be. Instead your wish is to let them be just what they
are.
Surrender is to live with your ego packed in the trunk while your faith
carries you on a majick carpet. Faith is trusting that God/dess knows what is
best whether you can see it or not, and to sit on that carpet and feel the
bliss of the ride, minus all those other attachments... Bliss comes when
there are no attachments to willfullness, and only through surrender.
Surrender is being able to stand before little deaths and feel no second
thoughts, no misgivings, no fear. Little deaths are giving up the focus on
what you want and just enjoying the ride. Little deaths of what you want,
what you worked for, what you expect to happen because you invested, what you
thought you could cause people to do in the interest of your ideas. Your
intentions.
When all the little deaths are past you, the funeral of fear no longer
attracts your attention, all that is left are the fruits and the flowers of
no remembering, no thought only the light of God/dess. You cross the veil,
have moments that you can see with her eyes, love with her loving and you
ride that majik carpet that has no bumps or accidents or injuries.. only
learning, growing and travelling experiences in bliss, calm, peace,
timelessness, gifts, bounty...
It is only the ego mind that suffers, until it surrenders to pure faith --
without self attachment, unrelented non-hesitant spontaniety (in the moment
there is no space for thought). Ego mind writes and composes the suffering,
the fear, the reluctance, the hesitation, the debate of the issue of
surrender -- hears its own argument and only as its own possession in order
to define itself. Without ego, and letting go to surrender, none of these
things exist. No more definition or explaining is necessary.
