good morning Missy,

the person from whom the email was sent is most often somebody ( in this case, "Hari
Shankar" <hshankarATnospamis.com.fj> ) who has caught the virus... once you have this virus on
your harddrive, it goes into your email program's (usually Outlook Express) address book
or stored mail, and then sends itself out to all of your friends using your name...

all that can be done is for each person to make sure that they have a good antivirus
program that is regularly updated... then keep your own systems scanned... and if you want
to open any attachments that might be suspect, first copy them into a floppy disk and then
scan the floppy before opening the program on your hard drive...

and of course, the person who sent the virus should be notified that they have it and told
that they need to immediately get an antivirus program to scan their system and removed
the infected files...
