You have me confused. I said that the all creating
universal, pre-existant god does NOT satisfy me.
>A God who has no personality
>and volition of His own can't speak to us,
>can't tell us what to do,
>can't object to what we do. How conveeeenient!
How then, do we know the personality of this god unless
we interpersonally create it? Have we met him? Can we
simply feel his personality? If so I would merit personal
creation of the god more than just some spiritual "knowing",
or predefined characteristics of a god. And if the former
is true to any extent, then the god is made within the mind
anyway.
And what would make a god concept of a personal (within ones self)
god, and not a universally adopted god more superior would be the
tailoring of the god to yourself. a god is just as much a function
of yourself as you are of it.

Do you suggest I keep them all neatly folded in my pocket?
We must choose a path. Choosing no path at all is NOT choosing
ALL paths. And even if we choose to walk between many paths,
we still do not cross ALL paths. Keeping al lfaiths, ideas,
whatnot in the back of your mind is defeating. You MUST adopt
some kind of personal belief, in at least the most miniscule
amount. And no matter how small, when you firmly believe in
something, you are dedicating yourself to one side of the topic.
> > My god may well be within myself ...
>But what if THE God is not? :)
Scare tactics have long since first hearing annoyed me
and pushed me further from considering ones ideas as
genuinely sincere. And besides, this is my point with
A god concept. THE GOD is a phrase that discerns that
you have definately identified a path, and that you have
"discarded the ones they[you] don't like in favor
of new ones."
