It's the yin and the yang. which came first? The chicken or the egg? The fear
or the life threatening event? How do we learn? Are we really a blank slate?
IMHO, our responses are conditioned in our hypothalimus as instint, passed
down from those who pre-patterned neurons and neurotransmitters before us.

Domestic violence abusers are so predictable, that I can sit in a victim
therapy session and spell out what the guy will attempt to do to his victim
for the next two weeks. It got so stereotypical, that I could recite what the
abuser said before the victim could even tell the story. This has the ladies
baffled. I didnt tell them that their response is as easily predictable,
too... instead I hope I would never manifest that, and they can go on their
merry way shedding away their self concept created reality and peeling it
away like an onion, until only a green sprout is left... did you ever notice
how similar union and onion are spelled, by the way???
