Weeeelllll ..

Since you mention it,
  of the identified genes so far,
  95% already occur in fish, anyway ..
  and even more occur in marine mammals ..

some are aware of their connection, others are not ..

read the legend of the Selke
  then go talk to the dolphins ..

having a meaningful conversation with a fish
  is easier than talking to most humans.

Now .. I could also tell you that there are markers
which occur in humans which also occur in rocks
that have been buried for millions of years ..

similar markers can also be found in bacteria
preserved in quartz crystals ..

but, then you probably wouldn't believe me ..

  so, you see, humans aren't that superior ..
  have a close encounter with a cockroach
  and you will learn all of the survival and
  longevity skills you would ever need ..

but .. as Old Bill said ..
