Dear Denise,

Gosh, its deja vue to hear your thoughts on this topic. I was told by an
audible voice during meditation that I chose my family experience that I
could be thoroughly aware of drawing life from the Life Force, and practicing
exclusion from all kinds of pain and suffering that never really effected me
physically, (and that I could learn how to release pain from others, ie
healing.) Another exercise in attunement, perhaps?

The week I heard this voice during a very critical time in my life, my
spiritual mother in real life, my mentor and friend of the family employer at
the time, heard the voice herself during a jewish prayer while in her own
home, and called me to ask me if it was true that we were both told these
things. She committed her life to helping me heal from that childhood
experience, and we have been spiritually bonded ever since, (I call her my
adopted Jewish Mother, and to which my family is extremely jealous) ..and any
time we have ever prayed to help someone, the results have always been
profound, by the way...

This family tried desperately to control what they perceived was "me." I knew
all along it was not personal. They tried to destroy every way they could:
emotionally, mentally, physically, spiritually. You name it, they tried it.
They tried to kill many times.

I remember being suffocated many times. Yet, rather than being afraid of not
getting air and dying, I knew I would live. Even as a tiny child, I was aware
I had something special to help me out beyond nice warrior and guardian
angels. I had a spiritual "generator."
