When you are able to move beyond the words
and the dogmatic interpretation placed on those words
by those who seek to build up their own

  "My God is greater than your god"

all of the words in all of the scriptures are but metaphors
which carry for the same essence ..

  each written for a different culture
  in a different time and place.

When the western mind can find humility
in the equalities of all peoples

  then will the hidden truths
  of all of the scriptures East and West
  be revealed

Until then, the need for the division
  of Less than < u > Greater than
  will see the perennial semantics.

The other thing that need to be understood is that
particular words have a resonance and thus an
emotional meaning within the body ..

  and if your past does not contain an understanding
  of Eastern Scripture .. then the terms used here
  will find no resonance .. and so to the mind,
  no meaning
