Hi Hillary and everybody.... ;-)
This poll was great timing for me... my subconscious has been sending me
signals to finally try to assimilate this experience. While time and
synchronicity have lead me to understand/digest some of it, there are still a
couple of symptoms that I don't quite get, so if anyone else has experienced
something similar and has an insight to offer, I would love to hear from them.
Well,... here goes....
Physical:
- Initial onset occurred when Heart Chakra blew open.
- Intense tingling sensations centered in chest/abdominal area, later
spreading
through arms and legs.
- First couple of days, felt a strong urge to vomit/wretch. (think this
was the energy pushing it's way up)
- Energy sensations in crown and third-eye chakra.
- Slight but steady chills - like waves of energy running off my body -
especially noticeable while resting. (am thinking this was emotional energy
being released)
- Brighter, clearer, luminous eyes. (not quite, but almost alien-like in
appearance ;-) )
- HUGE, HUGE energy -- felt like I had the mother lode at my disposal.
- No desire to sleep, managed to rest for a few hours each night and
actually sleep
occasionally for brief periods.
- Would occasionally experience extremely vivid visions -- fully conscious,
in an ordinary setting (e.g., on an airplane with a group of people) when
closing my eyes.
- Wild-ass dreams that seemed more real than waking life -- mostly
symbolic...ancient, prehistoric, yet ageless stuff.
- Sense of fluid rocking or wave like motion while being still.
- Had some strange magnetism going on -- would attract people to me (or
more likely to the energy & love that was flowing through me) kinda like
bees to honey -- was very puzzling at the time.
- Intimate encounters with an awesome invisible lover ('beloved', I later
learned)
- Increased libido (understatement)
- Heightened awareness - everything was brighter, more intense, crisp, etc.
(very similar to an acid trip)
- Could see energy in the fabric of reality... kind of like seeing solid
objects as particles or dots - separate & swirling....kinda like a
Mattise painting.
- Could feel (words are going to fail me here) my emotional/energy bodies
ebbing and flowing with the energy around me. Kind of like being swept away
and returning all at once.
- Crawling/tingling sensation (still occurs) back/lower/right side of neck.
(still can't figure this one out - don't think there's a chakra there, but
remember reading something in the Don Juan material about this area)
Mental/Emotional:
- Overwhelming feelings of unconditional love for all humanity.
- Total absence of fear.
- Went through a period of witnessing painful past memories, but from a
totally different perspective. They kinda bubbled up, passed through my
consciousness and were finally released with an overwhelming sense of love
and understanding.
- Noise sensitivity - intolerance for television/radio/background babble.
- Increased desire to be alone - in stillness and silence.
- Overwhelming sense of awe at the beauty in nature - especially the sky.
- Spontaneous tears of Joy.
- Especially moved by music & drawn to lyrics that contained messages that
were right for me at the time.
- Bizarre periods of synchronicity, 'knowingness' (e.g. knowing stuff
without a doubt)
- Occasional concern that I was going off the deep end followed by an inner
guidance that everything was really OK.
- Connectivity to certain individuals -- receiving and transmitting
thoughts.
Spiritual:
- As a recovering Catholic, was puzzled by the recurring thoughts that this
is what Christ must have felt like. Finally got close to understanding the
term Christ Consciousness.
- Felt the common denominator between all religions and faiths.
- Was aware of a 'divine' presence -- increased awareness of 'not' being
alone or separate.
