Subject: [K-list] Just looking for a massage...
From: Nina
On 2001/05/18 05:27, Nina posted thus to the K-list: Good morning everyone,
Thought some of you might get a nice chuckle out of a dream I had
last night:
Dreamt that I was trying to find out about rates for and the
possibility for getting a tan (haha) and massage from a new spalike
facility that had just opened. It was apparently wildly popular, as
the line I was waiting in was very long. I finally reached the front
of the line and began asking questions about the facility. I was
interested to know about the ATnospamwomen only' section, but every time I
asked about it, the check-in clerk shied away and acted like it was
some sort of sexually aberrant area.
I left, thinking I could get better answers by calling them from a
telephone. I found a phone and called
the owner of the spa answered
and it seemed like I would be able to get some answers from her, but
her speech quickly deteriorated into moans
I was convinced she was
receiving oral stimulation
I hung up on her when I could no longer
understand a word she was saying.
Returning to the line, the next check-in clerk was having a seizure
and couldn't answer my questions because he had to go get help and a
replacement.
I went in search of a phone again
found only a really disgusting
dirty toilet room and so returned to the line again. This time, the
check-in clerk was a young woman who was recounting to her friend how
she had been a homeless runaway, but then was assigned a home. I
joined in the conversation thinking I might be able to sneak a
question or two in. Eventually I asked her outright what a massage
would cost me. She told me I couldn't afford it. I pushed her to tell
me. $35. $35? I could afford that
she pointed to a sandwich board
sign with a description of the massage: "~Kundalini Shakti Rising
Massage~" (bahaha! I laughed with John this morning that we are
surprised we haven't seen a sign like this in Asheville yet). My
thoughts were: how presumptuous, how trendy, and do I really want
that? All I want is something to relax
not blast energy through my
head when what I really need is something to gently circulate my
blocks out.
Oh well, still in search of a massage
