Desperado...(ego)

Being as "A Desperate",
with paths so far away,
Intensities in motion,
God and Bad at bay...

In haste, steps backward,
and never one ahead.
Intensify those emotions
to feel the soul's not dead.

People grow so desperate
for the spiritual sense of Self,
searching for a "ghost"
of true emotional wealth.

Yes, way too many guess and jump
to find just empty space...
forever missing where it is --
*This* genuine sense of Grace.

It was God who created emotion
to fit inside a shell;
to feed a kindling spirit,
and nurture this thing called Self.

He put us all in the Human Race
to learn "within" as obvious,
He gave us all and equal chance:
The Truth in each and all of us!
