Subject: Re: [K-list] Choices
From: Christopher Wynter
On 2001/05/14 21:35, Christopher Wynter posted thus to the K-list: You cannot move away
from that which you carry within
unless you resolve it within.
Your choice to move away
merely transposes the creation
of what you carry within
in a new location.
The freedom of choice available to one
who has resolved all of the inner influences
is similar to one who has just brought
a new computer ..
just the Operating system
without any programs installed
then you can have fun, based on what you have learned
deciding what programs you are going to install
and avoiding the ones
that used to clog up your old computer
or cause it to crash.
That is freedom of choice ..
not having to take your old computer with you]
with all of the old files
clogging up the hard drive
and the registry ..
No matter how far you run,
you cannot run away from your past self
unless you choose to leave it behind also.
There is no free will
unless you are conscious of your unconscious.
One day, I decided I didn't need a past,
so I dropped it.
So without a past, there were no memories
to create a fear in the future ..
No longer did I stand
right leg in the future hopes and fears
left leg in the past memories and regrets
depositing my bodily excretions
all over the present ..
and those present.
