Applause for Cat everyone.

Sexual abuse is a tough subject for anyone to address.

I commend you for choosing to make sense of your history.

I applaud you for taking the next step to involve your immediate family, then your extended family, and then the "family of man" at large in breaking such a destructive cycle in generations of behavior.

This is no small feat.

This is a marvelous thing you are doing, both for yourself and for others.
This is a tough job yet rewarding to you. And all the rest of us benefit from your endeavor.

There are not enough superlatives available to express how favorably impressed I am with your effort for others. You are just not standing on the sidelines complaining "something should be done about that." You are actively involved in creating a quality solution for all harmed by this interaction.

It is a tall order to learn to love society's "pariah."

Yet, really loving is what it is all about. Loving, with, of course, wisdom for the process while all heal. (As you described about placing boundaries upon availability of temptation)

These people we label as molesters/monsters are what we fear most about ourselves. Not that we will molest. It is about how we will exist in this life: without love, from others or of ourselves.

When we realize we really are of worth, we shed those fears and the need to react in "high negative" behaviors. (Like the snake shedding its skin, a new beginning is born.)

Teaching others how to love themselves, helping to build that self-esteem during that process, choosing to socialize and therefore creating (re-creating) the connection to us is the greatest gift we end up giving ourselves.

Yes. It is all about LOVE!
