Cat,,, I know from personal experience that i would die a thousand times for
every at risk child on the face of this earth....
But i also know I have tried a couple of times through the police and
welfare systems here in the US to help some that i knew good and well were
being abused. Frankly the welfare workers are too busy looking at my full
arm tattoos and condeming home school mothers to listen....or at least the
ones Ive dealt with... Even tried once to go through a foster parent. My own
mother in law to boot!!! She went and told the women I was planning to call
on her husband... Bad situation....The couple of police officers Ive delt
with told me to call the welfare!! YEAH! The whole thing is so messed up in
the US it isnt funny.Noone wants to listen to the ones who are really being
abused..... They prefere to witch hunt the moms who are actually trying and
spread too thin....
No little blessings will be safe until the laws are reformed enough to
empower the victims and stop protecting the violators.
If I alone could change the laws I would. So until then I keep faith that
things will change (ideaism gets me every time).....

I would like to know though, actually i need to know. Does being empathic
help you reckonize molesters????? I have been told that empathic abilitys
allow one to feel what another person close to them is thinking.

PS!!!!! the views in the above topic in no way are intended to reflect
anoyones but my own!!! no offense is intended to any police officer or case
worker of any kind! I am speaking of those bad apples who make the bunch
look bad nothing more!!!!!!!!!!!!
